Match starts: Saturday, 20.11.2021 at 18:30 (GMT+1)
A very promising encounter of two clubs from the original ''big four'' of the Premier League. Both teams are successfully riding on the momentum of early season success and are showing superb form at the moment, which should result in an open and interesting match.
Liverpool is looking very solid this season. They are currently 4th with 4 points behind leaders Chelsea and have recorded one single defeat in all competitions combined. That happened 2 weeks ago in the last round of the Premier League against West Ham, where they lost 3:2 on the road. To be honest, they didn't really deserve that defeat, as they were the better team for most of the match, but West Ham defended well after taking the 3-1 lead. This is nothing to be ashamed of, as West Ham is currently in a top-notch form, sitting 3rd on the table - just behind Chelsea and Manchester City. Due to Liverpool's amazing attacking power in the last couple of years, they created a high standard for themselves that is now expected of them every season. And they did not disappoint us this year. They have scored most goals in the Premier League - a total of 31 goals in 11 matches, which means they score whopping 2.8 goals per game on average. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have scored 16 of those goals, with Salah being the Premier League's top scorer at the moment with 10 goals. In the Champions League, they have already secured 1st place in group B and only Ajax, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have scored more goals than them. They have won all 4 matches and we have to point out that their group is nowhere close to being an easy group (Atletico Madrid, Porto, AC Milan). Liverpool will be motivated to bounce back on the winning track after losing to West Ham and the match against Arsenal is perfect to show everyone what they're capable of.

Arsenal is coming to Anfield in superb form. They are unbeaten in their last 10 matches and have won last 4 of them. They are currently 5th in the Premier League, just 6 points behind 1st place and they're showing promising performances this season. A club that is part of the notorious ''big four'' in England, hasn't really lived up to their name in the last couple of seasons. The last time they finished in top 4 was in 2015/2016 season, when Leicester suprised everyone and took the title. In the last two seasons they finished 8th, which is nowhere close to where they should be. They have been performing below expectations for quite some time, which is probably a result of their terrible transfer deals, which were just abysmal in the last years and the competition has gained huge advantage on this field. However, this season things are starting to look better for the Gunners. They had a rough start, losing their first 3 Premier League matches, but 2 of those were against Chelsea and Manchester City, so it wasn't much of a shock, really. After that, they have won 6 and drew 2 matches, which propelled them into the top 5 spots. All of those victories were smooth where they were definitely the better team. It looks like they finally might have gotten their things together and Arsenal could be the team to keep an eye on this year.
Missing players: S. Kolašinac (injury), G. Xhaka (injury)
Probably missing players: Thomas (injury), F. Balgun (injury)
There might be some key players missing for Liverpool in this match (at the moment, only Roberto Firmino is confirmed to miss), but I still believe they possess to much offensive power and quality for Arsenal. Especially playing in front of their own fans at Anfield, which always seem to fire up the players even more. Arsenal is indeed in a superb form, but they haven't played a top level team since end of August and I think that they will not be ready for Liverpool's quality. If Liverpool wins by just 1 goal, we get our stake back.
Best of luck!
